Welcome to La Mancha Húmeda.

Visit to one of our hypersaline lagoons, the result of an ancient and dry sea, which has been a network of more than 200 lagoons with a salinity 500 times higher than that of the sea that form the Biosphere Reserve of the Humedales de La Mancha, a Unique place that will not leave you indifferent.

VISIT TO THE SILOS OF THE ATALAYA

The silos are underground constructions, excavated in the horizontality of the land.

The silos of the countryside served as refuge and resting place for farmers, especially in the face of inclement weather during agricultural work, and allowed workers not to return to the village.

We will explain how they were built, what the tradition was and how the ancient farmers lived.

INITIATION TO ORNITHOLOGY

We are in an area where the Central Iberian System ends.

The last foothills of the Montes de Toledo Orientales, open to infinite horizons.

The Wet Spot, Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA North Spot) and Reserve of the Biosphere Wetlands of La Mancha.
